Loop Around Central Texas Today

Put over 350 miles on the bike today with my buddy Richard on his Sportster...Kind of a loop of Central Texas. This is at Granger Lake. Thought I would hit 70,000 miles on the bike today but was 36 miles shy when I pulled into the garage.
 
You picked a hot day for a ride. We rode from Amarillo to Duncanville yesterday and I was ready to peel that tall windshield clean off before we got home! That's a cool shield you have on your Rocket. Good looking bike. I may have to check into a shorty for mine also.....I get nothing but radiator heat with the one I have.
 
Thanks... Ive tried the Roadster screen and lowers and I couldn't stand the heat. I have the Summer screen but I have dont like it either. Plus for my bike they both look out of place.. and you right about the HEAT! If I didnt have my buddy Richard with me, I would have been hauling butt to gett home! We made quite a few stopz a long the way, so that helped some.
