I owned a '53 Chevy half-ton PU in virtually the identical color as the one shown in front here, back when I was in college in Northern Cal, only mine was substantially more customized.. My "Blue Moon" as she was known, was a real head-turner.

BTW my family, back in the day, had a nearly identical Chevy station wagon to the '61 pictured on the last page! Then we had this exact vehicle for towing our travel trailer, sans the hot wheels and lowered treatment - quite the powerful beast she was...

Search for Holty's Photos on Facebook he has posted hundreds of photos. That's where I've been getting them from.

Wow some magnificent old cars there alright. Nice to see a bit of real steel out there instead of tin and plastic. I would have an old Pilot any day. Nice pics.
