Sure it wasnt a team of horses pulling the fire wagon ( you know ruzzle back in the day)because I can assure you one of the rapid response fire trucks could easily hit 120 kph which was double the posted speed limit .I must admit the guys used to go a shade of white when I was the driver
 
Me and the family have taken off to Yamba NSW for the long weekend. It turns out there is a Hot Rod gathering that involves the whole town and the Hot Rods have come from all over Australia.....sweet.

Putin has got his big gun ship pointing towards Brisbane..... So I'm ***n outa there..
 
Was in the city in my truck twice today. No one there except cops. The main intersection outside Central station I got the red light and the pedestrians got the green. When this happens there is usually a couple of hundred or more people spill out onto the street in every direction. Today there was 6 but while I was sitting at the light I counted 47 cops standing around. When I got onto the Riverside Expressway I counted 8 cop boats infront of the South Bank. The police commissioner was on TV last night assuring us that Obama's and Putin's own security would not be allowed to carry weapons while they were in Australia. I don't know who he thought he was fooling. My guess is if someone rush's Obama with a weapon his body guards will pull their non existent guns and shoot them dead. Otherwise they may as well stay home and let the local cops handle it.
 
Good weekend to go to Yamba. Yamba Hot Rod Run is on started yesterday. They had a drive to Brooms Head today. 2 or 3 hundred hot rods to look at mate. Got your camera?
 
Brisbane has exited the city on the 6 oclock news . I think people got sick of all the crap the government and the media were on about.Newman is such a dick. Some of these so called big wigs are staying across the river at sanctuary cove .Exspecting an invasion of helicopters and plods pounding the pavement here soon.
