In all fairness and full disclosure...I am no longer in the military (retired in 1993 after 21 years, 10 months and seven ships later) but I am working as a civilian contractor for Dyncorp doing water purification...ie: making sure the military has shower water, can brush their teeth and flush toliets and urinals.
I just brought up that "over here" a Kindle is a better way to have a lot of books on hand to read and carry around with you.
I will be back stateside for good the end of June...just because I like my Kindle doesn't mean I am above buying "hard copies" of books anymore because I will as the need arises.
Just don't go putting it on Kindle just for a few of us (or just me
) on my account as I don't have any idea how much it costs to put it on Kindle or the Nook or whatever and it may not be cost efficient to do so.
I will probably just order it and have it sent home and read it when I return or on my vacation this summer.
But thanks for the thought.
