Love Kindle...better than carrying a bunch of books around...unfortunately I have to wait till I get to Dubai or back to the US as we are not able to "download" in theater though I heard I can get it on my computer and transfer it that way...may have to look up how to do that.

If you want it in Kindle (or Nook) I'll do it. Can't think of a better reason than supporting the Armed Services. I'll contact the publisher today. Thanks for the reality check.

In all fairness and full disclosure...I am no longer in the military (retired in 1993 after 21 years, 10 months and seven ships later) but I am working as a civilian contractor for Dyncorp doing water purification...ie: making sure the military has shower water, can brush their teeth and flush toliets and urinals.

I just brought up that "over here" a Kindle is a better way to have a lot of books on hand to read and carry around with you.

I will be back stateside for good the end of June...just because I like my Kindle doesn't mean I am above buying "hard copies" of books anymore because I will as the need arises.

Just don't go putting it on Kindle just for a few of us (or just me) on my account as I don't have any idea how much it costs to put it on Kindle or the Nook or whatever and it may not be cost efficient to do so.

I will probably just order it and have it sent home and read it when I return or on my vacation this summer.

But thanks for the thought.
