LED rear signal lights

On my bike, the rear harness uses a pair of identical black wires to each indicator. A normal bulb will glow no matter which way the current flows I guess, so it doesn't affect function if you have normal bulbs. The rear bulbs can therefore be wired up either way, it's just random chance how the Triumph tech who assembled it all put in the wires. Guess he got it right on one side and wrong on the other. I had to use the multimeter to measure which one was ground.

The brightness is no doubt just the way the cluster was made. My clusters have an orange center of LED's (24) and a red ring around the circumference (24) that are quite bright as running lights and very bright as brake lights.

I think you have the Dynamic Ringz? Saw them on the site. Wanted those, but didn't have the bulb/socket type I needed, 7507. I had hoped to disable the running like feature of the brake module, but when I disconnect the running light wire, no brake lights, and both signal lights flash when I turn on either signal. But in the end, I can live with the brighter than normal running lights if it means I'm a bit more visible.

I do not think I saw any part numbers. What are the part numbers for a LED light bulb that fits into the stock tail light socket? I see different choices at Custom Dynamics but am not certain which ones to order.

The brake light should just be a normal 1157. I had tried an aftermarket led bulb, with led's on the end and around the side, but found the stock bulb performed just as good. (Probably due to the brand of LED bulb I picked) Also there is a slight delay (like a 1/4 second or so) between when the brake light and the led signal/brake lights light up when I hit the brakes, so I figure thats a slight attention grabber anyways. Visibility is a good thing.
The signal light bulbs are the peculiar ones. The socket I used was 7507, which apparently is a different socket to some earlier years of touring. But I got the 7507 Clusters and they work fine. Very bright lights too.

Pretty sure the turn signals are 1156, single filament, on the Touring anyway. 7507 is close but slightly different tabs I think? Anyway, I bypassed the whole issue by getting the hardwire dynamic clusters2 (and ringz, up front). A lot more work to wire up, but worth it for the end result (at least to me).

The running lights are nice and bright but not crazy bright, and that's really what you want, especially at night. And they go off like a bomb when I hit the brakes, which again is what you want, for there to be a serious uptick in light output when braking.

Mine are the 7507 (aka BAU15S) Maybe triumph changed over at some point or the guys building my bike pulled a funny and switched sockets. Those clusters are sweet, but the running lights are quite bright. They pretty much look like brake lights at night and when i hit the brakes its almost like a 1 megaton nuke went off (ok, not quite but very bright) I think this winter (yuck) I'm going to look into those ringz for the front. Really like the look of those.

BAU15S, 1156, 7507... seem to be considered essentially the same thing if you look around online. But, I did bypass the sockets entirely and hardwired my clusters in so if 7507 fit for you then that's probably what one wants. Good to know.

The front Ringz can be very easy to install, if you don't want to complicate it. Pull out the reflectors, solder or posilock the indicator cables to the existing cables (the only pitfall here is finding which of the two wires is ground - may have to measure it out), and thread the white cable out of the indicator and up and into the driving light above. Then positap into the positive wire for the driving light. Done, the ringz come on and go off with the aux light switch along with the driving lights.
