A nice pix, Duk! (@TO rocket)
Haven't been out and about on Kong since Texas.
S'posed to be nice here tomorrow, perhaps a hundred mile or so stretch is in order.
Thought so it looked familiar that was some of best riding roads apart from over east in the Tail of The Dragon area, loved Sedona and surrounds while I was over there in good company of my American Mates
There is a ride in eastern Az that some say the Tail of the Dragon is good training grounds for. Having never been on the Tail I can weigh in but I do know the Coronado Trail is awesome. But it is for sure not a winter ride, lol.

Without heated gear , I'll ride until salt gets spread on the road. Sometimes I get to ride into January, sometimes only until Late October. You get to deal with much harsher Winter weather, Buffalo usually wins at the Winter Snowfall Competition between Buffalo, Rochester, and Syracuse. We're usually last place, I feel good about getting last place in that competition.
I was out riding yesterday, out later today as the 60's are still here. I am usually able to get in at least on ride each winter month, dry roads and 40's are good, never know here in Iowa. I just hate the sand, street dept thinks more is better and they never sweep it up until late April. Snow is coming but maybe not until Xmas.
Happy Bday fellow Marines!!
Come on up to West Fargo, North Dakota on the last weekend of January. The North Dakota Chapter of the US Military Vets Motorcycle Club will be hosting our 10th annual "Below Zero Hero" ride to benefit our local homeless Veterans re-education program. In the past, we have ridden in weather with snow and the temps in the -13F range! That is our last ride of the season...or maybe the first ride of the next season!

Strangely, I've never heard of this ride before.
Thanks to your tip, a 94 mile rip on 191 from Alpine to Clifton followed by a 117 mile return on 180 is now on my radar!
I shall attempt to give it a go this next summer! Google Maps
