Strangely, I've never heard of this ride before.
Thanks to your tip, a 94 mile rip on 191 from Alpine to Clifton followed by a 117 mile return on 180 is now on my radar!
I shall attempt to give it a go this next summer!

If you do make the trip and want someone along who knows the route give me a shout out and I will see if i can make it on your schedule. Either way I think I can guarantee you will never regret the ride, well if you like tight twisties with thousand feet dropoffs anyway, lol. By the way, the 180 drive is much tamer with sweepers instead of tight switchbacks but the views are awesome as well.
