I just recently installed my Jardine exhaust on my 11 Roadster. I like a mean and raw sound. Let the bike sound equal to its size. Do any of you run the Jardines without the baffles and how do you like the rumble? Thank you.....

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYY too loud for me !!! I had to put a baffle in mine because they were resonating in my helmet.

one man sweet sound is another's nightmare I have jardine I think they generate about 92 dbl at 3000 rpm which is to my account reasonnable and deep throated (ahem!!)
now they do come originally with baffles and I never thought of removing thoses the sound is just right

maybe you should consider changing helmet !!!it might solve the apparent sound problem

or put some ear plugs in:)
I love my Jardines I don't think they are to loud put my wife say she knows I'm comming before I'm even comming down are street:)
And even when were driveing are car on the hwy and a Harley goes by I say to my wife is that louder? and she says no mine is way louder:)

I just wanted to get some feedback before I drill the rivets and pull em. I like loud. I know it is not everyone's cup of tea. I am also not use to a 3 cylinder engine sound. The bike should sound like it looks. A monster! :) Thank you all for your feedback.

is this right, the jardines have baffles, ive been looking for a good 3 into 2 but thought the jardines were to loud, maybe the ones ive heard have had the baffles out. Does anyone know if the earlier jardines for 09 models have baffles

I have a 2011 Roadster that I installed the Jardines on last spring. I loved the sound but decided to pull the baffles a few months later. The roar under wot is incredible, over 40 years of riding and nothing i've ridden approaches the roar. However after a couple of hours of hard riding with an AGV full face and earplugs the roar can start to wear. I have just gotten a Ducati Diavel with a Werkes can which sounds pretty sweet and hence have decided to reinstall the baffles for a little less wear on the ears.

my thoughts are with you regarding the passing of your big brother it is true we all are on borrowed time we have to make the best of it and always cherish every minute of it keep riding and always have a thought for him when the wheels are turning

I use earplugs 99% of the time when I ride. I think some peoples ears are more sensitive to different levels and tones of sound and after about 200, 300 miles it gets real taxing, I rather enjoy the ride as long as I can. I do like the looks of the Jars though.
