It's time for a new battery - suggestions please

He was interrupted and had to go get his railroad hat! :p :D

No, I heard the screeching of brakes and ran to the window because I was hoping you'd finally taken my advice to put your helmet on backwards and go play in the traffic.

I replaced my original Yuasa YTX20L-BS after 4 years with exactly the same model Yuasa battery the original was still testing OK with a load tester but I like to be sure I gave the original to my Son in law and he is still using it in his 20HP ride on mower, so Yuasa for me $A 200, replace every 4 years works out at $1 a week, cheap insurance for reliability

Just back from Battery World and got a DEKA Powersports ETX20L AGM rated at 310CCA . The guy at the shop put the battery on a CCA tester and it tested at 475CCA.
Installed the battery and hit the button and it spins over so fast now - its great.

Yeah they told me at the shop when I got mine they will easily start a big 6cyl or even small V8 but I didn't want to stretch your credulity that far!!:thumbsup:

Mine didn't have the PW in the number which according to Yuasa denotes unique terminal ?
I don't think so, Fred.
I see Yuasa batteries listed without the H designation that are high power.

This is from Yuasa's website.
