It's time for a new battery - suggestions please

Mittzy, you cant go wrong with the Deka. I was going to suggest sticking with a Yuasa but I have used Deka before and I have one in my R3 right now. A good, sturdy battery.

@Mitzy - by the way what did you get stung at Battery World? My original one has a Battery World sticker but I got my replacement at The Battery Factory, Fyshwick ACT for AUD$200 +AUD$20 GST (US$165)Ouch!

Just back from Battery World and got a DEKA Powersports ETX20L AGM rated at 310CCA . The guy at the shop put the battery on a CCA tester and it tested at 475CCA.
Installed the battery and hit the button and it spins over so fast now - its great.

Was just going to say I bought a DEKA the last time out.

$280 ouch! but i dont mind if it is a better battery, i got a jump stater battery pack as well to throw in the saddle bag when on a trip.

Jeez I bet that jump starter battery pack was poisonous from Battery World too. Mine is in the saddlebags already, I got mine from China eBay AU $68.35 delivered.

Hey Mittzy...did the Deka fit ok? My oem yuasa died this morning and I can get the Deka slightly cheaper than the yuasa here.

Hunty just paid $205 all inclusive but has to pick it up (not far from where Hunty works though) and for the collective knowledge, Battery World wanted $279 p/u...
