It's good to be different

I see a few sports bike riders going the same way to or from work most days, they would pull along side me at the lights obviously wanting to show their prowess, I never tried to win the start but I was always in close proximity of the licence plate while their little heads where flicking between their mirrors :)

I have a easy to remember custom plate.. now they sit behind looking like there not interested anymore.. funny how you just crack a big grin at Take Off :D

I have never seen another rocket in my area or within 200 miles. That means there is very little running from the cops if any. :(

Same here. Medic is the only other dude I know of in my area with a Rocket. After getting it, one of my first thoughts was, "Well, no blending in on THIS bike with the cops". I guess they gotta catch me now.

The down side to being rare is service. I went to my local Triumph dealer to check out a noise i have in my drive train and they said they can't look at it until 10/9!
Great....... Peckers!

I know it's a bit of a hike from Fredrick MD, but down here in Tidewater VA(Norfolk) D&D Import Cycle Sales won't make you wait like that. Brian & Jerry are great folks to work with for sales and service.:)

Thank you! Good to know. I still have another dealer on the other side of DC to check out. Frankly, I'll tow it anywhere within reason to get reliable service.

Id rather see lots around than none give u more people to ride with and exchange ideas also makes it more likely to be able to find parts.

riding down the road in a group of 10-15 rockets is far better than 1 on its own:cool:

When i go to the coffee shop in the morning i've heard from the side lines a few times that's the guy who rides the Rocket..I love to see the expression on their faces when i tell them it's 2300CC............:)

How do ya recon my mate on the Harley felt? Most likely like the sole R3 amongst the Harley's, or
Like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs:D
Na he had fun

Tell you what , your Harley mates lucky i walked outside to have a smoke when i did. That dickhead in the Toyota would have cleaned up his bike if i'd not stopped him. The goose reckoned he was worried about copping a parking ticket if he left the nose of his car out... told him he'd be copping more than a ticket if he hit the Harley. In the end i just had to tell him to 'f#ck off and park somewhere else'.
