Issue with clutch, and starting

Last night turned key on gauges swept, lights on, neutral, pulled clutch, and no start. Pulled clutch again, and nothing. Then third clutch pull it started.
Anything to inspect? What is the sensor on the hand controls near the clutch.

not sure what is causing your problem mate but it could be that sensor as that is your clutch switch/sensor i spray a little wd-40 on mine every now and then to keep it clean and lubed

Its the clutch safrety switch, designed to keep you from starting the bike in gear, and also designed to leave you stranded out in the middle of death valley in the summer.
