Instructions for using the classified ad forum?

Before posting in this forum, I did a search for "classified ads", but nothing came up regarding instructions on how it works.

I placed and ad the other day (that part was easy enough), today I see my item is SOLD. I didn't put the red SOLD in there and I have sent an email to the person that "bought it"

I also bought another item in the classified and posted such, but I don't know if I am supposed to somehow mark it as sold.

Any help will or direction be appreciated, as I have several more Rocket III accessories to sell.

figured it out

Since I allowed instant buying via paypal, that is why it showed up as Sold. Strange that unless I checked, I would not know it sold. Would be really cool if either this site or paypal could send me an email.

All is good and I posted another ad...for a center stand.

classified ads acting very strange

I placed two ads several weeks ago and in the last few days both showed up as being sold. The center stand last week and the foot pegs today. Yet I do not have any information on who purchased them. I have been checking my paypal account several times a day since the center stand was marked as sold and nothing.

Could it be possible that someone is hacking into the system?

I have responses to each ad asking for the buyer to email me. If I no one responds in the next few days, I will relist the items and remove the instant pay option, since it is not working.

I've disabled the Paypal feature, we'll see what happens.

The intent is to just support the posting of ads. Payment arrangements would be something that would be done outside of this site.
