Induction and Slight Engine mod combo??

clutch

Thanks guys!

My only reservation was Hombre's review that conveyed (rather emphatically) that the Lockup Clutch was a huge difference in "feel", almost as though it was designed for "hard core" use only.

I think I was just scared

Lockup Clutch it is !

So Hombre,

When you get the intercooled supercharger installed, what other parts are you going to change right away (from stock) ??

Wont that critter be close to 250HP and aching to break all kinds of internals?

Paul

The intercooled supercharger kit WILL NOT be going on my Ram Air R3. The synergy of Ram Air and Ram Cams is far too perfect to change... IMHO anyone that rode it would immediately agree. After riding it with last week and smoking a ZX-12... I feel confident I can teach some manners to busa bozos and punk ass ninja numbnuts right to 150 MPH (after which most fear to tread). "She's my little R3... you don't know what I got"

I have not decided if I should build a drag bike with the intercooled super charger kit... or the ultimate R3 bagger for Jolanta.

I wonder where the Kaw ZX-14 would place with you? I am sure it is a "sub 10 second" machine off the showroom floor. My new C-14 will run circles around my R3. I know my Rocket is slower than most, it could only stay a few feet behind Yogi, G-Man, David Harvey and mrhardrock at the PA Salvo dash to death run. As they say...... there is always a faster gun around somewhere.

Did you say you own a C14, I was told they're not out yet, I've had a deposit down on one for months. :?

Busajack,
Beautiful bike you have......... I want one of those too!

Hombre,
I like your bike, but I want your talent and knowledge. Great work you do

I still love my Rocket, I don't compare it with the new C-14 as they are two entirely different animals. I will say the Kaw C-14 is a "new" Sport Tourer in design as well as performance.

Good (honest) evaluation of the C-14......... http://www.motorcycle.com/manufacturer/kawasaki/2008-kawasaki-concours-14-60446.html

I have had my C-14 for a month. It always becomes a toss-up as to which one I will ride, the R3 or the C-14, both are excellent machines. :D
