I was Hellwalker in a past life. I used the site to deal with a frustrating job in Nigeria in sub-standard conditions. I got frustrated and bent beside deathly ill and popped on the site. I had a schizoid embolism, sorry. I hope some of the guys I enjoyed following are still around. I am working off shore on a Drill Ship in the Gulf of Mexico. I am looking at possibly moving to Perth for a few years if I take the offer, it will be complete with Family and dog. I of course will take the Rocket, hence I signed back up. I hope you still allow Rightwing Christian beer drinking gun loving bikers ( I know I know no guns in Australia but I like compound bows too and they have Red Stag and wild hogs)... Anyway thought I would try to come back. I will need riding buddies in Perth..

glad you're back.
Yep, we're still here, and still kickin the tires and smokin' the hogs.
I use to work offshore myself, in a past life of course.
Last rig I was on was the ODECO Ocean Express.
A 3 legged jack up rig. bad design, bad outcome.
anyway yea there's still room for a right wing, Christian, beer drinker hereabouts.
Join the party.
Hope everything is working out or has worked out and Welcome back to the fold.
ride safe and work safe,
skip

Wrong, we do have guns and yes we do have things to shoot at ;)

Cool Thanks

I need to get her out of the garage, I was home 10 days after I drugg up from the dark continent before I headed out here...working 14 and 14s. I been kinda neglecting my baby, she probably needs to be charged up and the gas tank has been full for almost 4 months, I only started her and putted to Church or around the hood... maybe twice in that time?
Sorry to here about the recent loss to the community, man thats a bummer. I think it is good to get back and interact with people, disagree or agree doesn't make anyone
more or less valuable everyone on here, has an important and valid 50 cents to throw in and they all add up and make a difference one way or the other. I kinda missed it, and now I see, I missed a few good or bad conversations from a brother that I won't ever have a chance to throw in my dimes worth... again. It's a hell of a ride man, might as well join the party...

You do have guns????

Thats good news, but probably to much hassle for Expat's to bring anything fun... I am gonna bring my bows and hoping to get in on some hunting.. I am looking at neighborhoods in Perth and waiting on their final offer. I hope bringing the bike won't be a big hassle but I am sure it won't be cheap? The fishing looks killer. How is the beer?

Welcome back...Perth is one clean city...at least it was back in 1981...last time I was there. Plenty of long roads to ride...good luck with the hunting.

Glad you got out of Nigeria, it did appear that things were not going well there.

I've been back from Afghanistan since the end of June, made a great trip (11,000 miles) with my wife (in a car) all over the US in July...lasted 24 days.

Then made a 2,600 mile trip on my Thunderbird to Baxter's in Iowa in August and joined up with a few of our brethern at The Hub in the Ozarks in September.

Now I may be contemplating going back over in January or February if I don't have a job by the first of the year...but my wife isn't going with me to where I usually go.

Just keep the drinking to after the ride is over and enjoy your time on your bike and with your family.

Hi Ex-Hellwalker..Guess a welcome back is in order :D

Do you mean "The Beer" in Perth Oz or Scotland UK ?

In Perth Oz it's OK if you can afford to drink it

Welcome back. Job frustration? How does that work?:D

I take it you were commenting on my remarks. I don't necessarily have "job frustration" but I was/am surprised that I still haven't found some decent work. I know I wouldn't be making anywhere what I made in the sandbox but thought I'd be doing something by now.

I have one more job that "may" be coming available...but if not by the beginning of the year then I'll go back to what I do best...and hopefully after say a year and a half or so...it will be for the last time (house will be paid off) and maybe I can make it so that my wife can "retire" from teaching as well.

Actually I was reponding to Ex's comment (and I quote): I used the site to deal with a frustrating job in Nigeria in sub-standard conditions.

If you're looking for work Molinoman check out what Monster.com has open. Sometimes they actually have a decent job show up.;)
