Does anyone know of an aftermarket hydraulic clutch for the Rocket 3? Due to a hand injury I may have to give up my Rocket unless I can find a way to lighten up the clutch pull. The bike does shift fairly well clutchless but at some point you have to stop or take off and I am not good enough to do that without the clutch!

No there is none but with some inginuity I bet you can hook up a push button ait shifter that shift up an ddown and then design a foot operated clutch on the left side floor board.

When the Rocket was first announced it was claimed by Triumph to have the lightest clutch of all their bikes. I don't know how you could make it any lighter. Having said that the "update kit" did include heavier springs and presumably any bike built after 2008 would have the heavier ones. Perhaps you could source the earlier springs? I never had a problem with clutch slip with the lighter springs and there was a noticeable difference in feel.

Pretty much what I have done. Mine is on a trike and is because I have no use of my right arm. Will post some pictures later when I get a chance.

I believe the heavier springs were in fact the ones used on the touring model. most likely Triumph was just eliminating the need for mutilple parts.

I think Evan's mod might be usable for him and am just plain interested in it. I think its great other riders do not let things like that stop them from riding.
Oh and mornin Awnry :D

I used two 6 volt truck starter solenoids (I run them on 12 volts) to shift my rear engined three wheeler I built about 30 years ago. It's still working. It's made out of a "ZAP" frame with a rare 1969 1/2 Type 1 350 Honda engine. The type 1 had a 10,500 rpm redline and made 38 hp. instead of 8,200 and 31 hp. like the rest.
