It looks like a person could build an anti-R3 from parts available on eBay, made up of all of the worst OEM parts that came with the bike. What a deal . I would love to find the person that is scouring eBay looking for 1) a used R3 cat box and 2) the ridiculously stiff OEM shocks .
Next up: the plastic brake line clamps. The over/under is $30 for those when they hit eBay.
You guys aren't thinking.Right now in Denver hardly guys are scrambling to find stock exhuast systems to put back on their bikes for the city and the EPA.I predict that in 5-10 yrs old cats laying in a garage somewhere will be worth that 300 bucks and I'll be rich.I've even got an empty one on the shelf that Regulator needs for a gas tank..Better hang on to them cats and old pipes.Jack
