How to match Vin number to get proper TuneEcu map?

It's the last 6 characters of your VIN in alphanumeric order:
0123456789ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

So:
AV1234 is later than AU1234 because V is later in the alphabet than U
BB1234 is later than BB1107 because 1234 is a higher number than 1107
AA0000 is later than 999999 because letter "digits" are regarded as having larger values than numeric digits

Hello Penner, and r3owners.
I have been running your tune on my 2020 Rocket R for a few years now. My question the maps are listed for stock exhaust. Is there a tune for running with an aftermarket (Vandemon) exhaust without a catalytic converter.
Thank you for everything you have done for the Triumph Rocket.

Hi @AzRocketman, I'm running Penner's unrestricted map on my 2024 R3 GT with a Vandemon exhaust and no cat. With the OEM map, I would stall fairly often coming to a stop or just taking off from a stop (with stock and Vandemon exhaust). With Penner's map, that is all gone! I could be wrong but I don't think there are specific tune mods/settings for an exhaust choice. The tune is about adjusting A/F mix at RPMs amongst other things. Penner's map makes the A/F ratio a bit more rich at low(er) RPMs.

You can load up two maps in TuneECU and it can outline the differences. I did this with the OEM map and Penner's unrestricted map. I was surprised to see the OEM map, even the Sport map, restricts throttle opening to only 60% max despite throttle signal being 100%. There are some other changes with the F tables but I'm not familiar with what those are...perhaps injector duty cycle or something...whatever Penner did, it works great!
