yes me and captain jack met at the raven truckers cafe on the a41 today and would you believe it we both have the same retund and manly physique the same dashing good looks , the same distinguished silver mane and the same air of nonchalance . We also both have blue rockets .had a lettice leaf to eat and a brew and a walk down memory lane , very nice and we going to do it again so will post it on the forum and see if any other dashing rocketer would care to join us.

He's already said we'll do it again, that's when the beach comes in. If anybody wants to join us for a walk on the beach it would be fantastic to fill the car park at the Raven with Rockets, have to go now starting to have a sexual experience, not sure if it's the thought of all those bikes, or hooky & the beach, pretty certain it's not hooky (no offence hooky)but a few dozen Rockets all in one spot is a site to behold.

Your on there Jack, will post when next arrange a meet up, maybe others will join us. Only problem for me is that I'm stuck for time & only Fridays work,. If it has to be a weekend then I may get a Sunday but would need plenty of notice to plan in advance.

And you could get a visit from me in South Wales if the day was good. the A41 is a great biking road thro shropshire for me. Heck you two mentioning the Raven took me back more years than I care to remember. As a kid we used to go on coach trips from West Bromwich up to Rhyl and the north wales coast - the coaches used to stop at the Raven. Happy days!! Somewhere in my boxes of junk are pics of me aged about 3 on the car park. Where did it all go! Ron
