High tickover problem......

Had to take my R3 in for its 30K service today,

Started it up and the tickover wouldn’t fall below 1800 -2000rpm :shock: . After a 25 mile ride to the shop it was still running high. The shop called saying there having problems sorting it :shock: :shock: – So any ideas.

Same here,,,isn't this a service glitch recall item?? mine has been fixed...

They probably have to install the tune fix to fix the tune fix that they likely installed to fix your old tune. Be fixed in no time. :lol:

Did you take that bonny little vintage bike riding lass out for a ride? If you did your Rocket's pulse was probably just still racing a bit.

It was somthin to do with the linkages going to the idle stepper motor......Id been rerouting the cables a few weeks ago …..So I guess it was self-inflicted in some way , (not that I told the shop that). :lol:
