Howdy all. Has been a long time between posts.
Recently read an article in the local paper in Australia about an old boy getting around on his Triumph Rocket 3 with 275,000km which is 170,000miles on the clock. It did not mention any problems along the way The rider stated it was the best bike he ever owned.
A local Triumph Rep interviewed said he had recently been at a dealers and saw one in for a service with 190,000km -118,000 miles on the clock. Sounds like if you get a good one they will certainly go the distance. Australia has the climate for riding all year round. Even still 170,000 miles not bad for a bike that only came out 5 year ago.
Cheers Mav
