from Sweden, just found this site.

I have a R3 -04, bought it new and got it in June -04 as the 3rd. in Sweden.
Have been out on some trips with it, among other places Scotland in -05, nice.

Plan to ship it over to the US in the summer -09 and ride the eastcoast down to Panama City FL to visit some friends.

Good to see another European "oldtimer" joining in. My Rocket happens to be the 6th one imported in Switz. It was assembled in August 2004. I bought it in Oct. that year. Love at first sight. I have lodged over 50'000 k's on it since then. Regards.

Let me be the second to welcome you to this site as it has many suggestions for modifications and advice. Does it count if I called about getting one in 04'? Anyway have a go here you can't go wrong. I'm just up from Panama city so when you come let me know and we have some guys here with Rockets we can show you around.

Good to have you here! I was the first in my town to have an R3 (pop. 275,000). Now there are at least 5 that I know of.
 
Just Getting Old

I have seemingly fueled this "mine is older" round of bidding for attention, if not appreciation or even indulgence, haven't I?

"Older" as opposed to what? Longer ? Richer ? Wiser ?
