2009 r3t
Hi guys. So i have found a set of tors for my 2009 R3T. I also just received my Paul Bryant crossover and a ramair setup. I decided to try and reuse the muffler gaskets (stainless mesh and lead I think?). Well, that didn't work. They are destroyed enough that I dont think they will work. My question is can I run the viking crossover (which Paul says doesnt need gaskets only sealant) with the tors and the powertripp derestricting tune? I already have that tune in and am running short on time before a big ride. I don't think I have time to put the ramair in. So stock air box+ PB crossover+tors on a tripp tune. What do you guys think?

Do you have a UNI filter in it? I'd think it will work anyway.

Putting the RamAir filter on takes about an hour, maybe 2 if you are meticulous. The components you have put together will work well.

So, it will still work without the ramair, or not? I have heard the tunes with ramair are great, but i will also need to retune from the Tripp tune. I guessing I either need to put all my parts on and retune, or try to rush a shipment of muffler gaskets.
I guess I'm a bit hesitant to change a bunch of parts and a tune right before I leave for a 3,000+ mile bike trip.

What is the full name of the PowerTripp map and where did you get it?
I don't know much about R3T's but i don't see one from him in the TuneECU custom map area or our Resources section for a Touring model??

You can find Power Tripp's tune here
TuneECU Custom tune list Triumph
It's named " R3T_stock_or_slip-on.hex "
Ah, I looked there but most of his other maps start with power-tripp so i didn't catch it.
Yes, you will be fine with that tune if you are just adding the crossover pipe. The ECU will handle it.

If you decide to put just the Ramair on by itself you are probably still OK but if you do the Ramair plus TORs
then a remap is wise.
I see two candidates to play with:
in the Resources folder:
Touring Tune by Nels at TwoWheelDynoWorks 2018-06-09
Full Remap of F/L/I tables done by Nels for a Touring With TORs and RAMIAR/K&Ns
and it may be the same map on TuneECU site;
