So far, we have refrained from spending $$$ to enhance the performance of the Beast. We likely will refrain in the future as well, since we don't ride all that aggressively and the Beast already outperforms every other cruiser extant. We can understand the draw, though. We think this need/desire comes under the general philosophy of "if gobs are good, then a whole lot more than that will be better still."

Removing the secondaries is painless and FREE.
Just a thought there bro.
The GiPro is pretty cheap, but not free.
But you do get a nifty gear indicator, so it's worth it
if for no other reason than to not search for 6th continually.

Of course Dave (scot in exile) can count to 5 so he don't need one,
me, not that good yet and the GiPro helps in that dept.
