I be thinking that if you've ridden in Virginia and you've ridden in Texas you would know.

from another displaced Texan living in Virginia since 1998, I love it up here. Good job. Great riding. Green grass. Trees over 20 ft. etc.

btw, Virginia is already an open-carry state.
 
Welcome from Georgia. Y'all bring that beast east we got a few roads we can show y'all. By the way, trying to crank the bike with the kick stand down is common, I try it at least twice a week.
 
And, I still try to reach for 6th even after installing a GI Pro.

It was work that did it Al; first the Navy and then contrator stuff afterward. And like TDragger says, great riding and open carry is normalized here.
