Coincidentally, I just received a phone call from Jim @RKTNMYPKT.
Jim already has a two bed room reserved and he has offered to share his room (NOT BED) with me.
We will hook up on route and be riding into Stearns, KY together.

$600 on first glance seems like a lot of money, but it's a whole weekend, plus tables and chairs, I looked locally, it would be a lot more than that here. I'm good with that.

The one I got in Maggie Valley was $400, so not too crazy I reckon.

Well the cost for them to bring it and pick it up is what really gets me. Of course they do have to come 45 minutes each way so I reckon the 175 for that isn't so bad. I will have some pics and a better idea tomorrow what we looking at.

The securing of a large tent could be more complicated and therefore expensive on pavement?

On grass they could spike it down, on asphalt they would have to brings weights sufficient enough to safely hold it down, stands to reason the larger expense.

I just got back from the motel. There is a place in the back that will hold the tent. Seeing the situation of the gazebo and such I suggest we get it.
Also I told him to put Jim in the PINK room
