Hey BC I spent 10's of thousands on my Hardley Davidson and didn't get any bang-for-my-buck, so whatever I spend on my R3 is a no-brainer for sure. It's alot more bike than the Hardley and the R3 is different. When I pull up to a motorcycle event people look and wonder what I'm riding then when they find out it's a Triumph they scratch thier heads and say hmmmmm.
Unless you've had a few accidents, your insurance shouldn't go up, you may want to call your agent and see what they say. Insurance is a nice thing when you need it. Besides it was an accident and it's not like you were fooling around. Did that darned bird have his plumage all out. If it did, it must of took up the whole side of the road. Those things are huge when thier feathers are out! They are very beautiful animals, but I bet you don't think so anymore, lol. Just a little humor. I'm glad your OK. How long before you get your bike done?
