I can understand that. That's one the great side benefits of digging Triumphs; not everyone and their brother has one. That said, as a hypothetical, what would you do if you checked out all the bikes and found that the one you like best was also the most popular bike sold. Would you buy it or avoid it because you "don't follow the crowd? Me, I'd buy it. like you, I don't care what other people do. If I like something or want to do something, I'm going to get it or do it because it's what *I* want. If what I want to buy or do happens to be the same thing others want, fine. If not, that's fine too. I'm still going to buy it or do it.
The funny thing about most Harley riders is they have this rebel, big bad, biker mentality yet most can't ride very well and it's hard to be a "rebel" if everyone in the crowd is doing it; kinda like tattoos. Of course, their lack of riding skill works out okay because most are only going to ride to the local bar anyway.
Anyway, my point is we can be individuals, but if we let others' perceptions dictate our thinking (not doing or buying something because we're hell bent on being an idividual), we're kind of cutting our nose off to spite your face. That's the impression I got from your prior post. Of course, I'm often wrong so.... lol
P.s. I dig those Minis. My neighbor has one and it's the same color as my old R3T.
