I'd have to agree with you regarding the America in terms of performance. They really have it dialed back, but it will go if you work the gear box correctly. But, the ergos were quite nice on it. And, the performance aspect actually made it a very relaxing bike to ride; very forgiving bike.
I also love the Thruxton; very FUN bike to ride. That Street Triple was just special to me, however. Man, that thing was fun to ride. If I were going to buy a pure street fighter/sport bike, that'd be the one for me. Of course, if I could, I'd have a Thruxton, a Street Triple and a Bonnie sitting next to my Tiger and T-Bird in the Garage. How cool would that be?
