Got myself the 2005 Triumph Rocket 3 in November...38,000 K's on the clock...While I am loving the ride I am having many problems...Bought this bike from a dealer...On Saturday something snapped... First a loud bang, then a horrible and friggin loud grating sound and the gears stuck in 3...I am getting really nervous as the dealer...(still under warranty) is avoiding me and I am seeing disaster stories about the Rocket's gearbox problems on the net???

Hello Derrick and welcome from Virginia. If this bike is still under warrenty, get it back to the dealer right now! I suspect it has not had the transmission upgrade and that the transmission has failed now. The mileage is not much at all so get them to fix the bike now before your time runs out. Good luck!

you had it for 2to3 months?do not let the dealer avoid you let him know you can spread the word around how he treated youre problem good or bad. gotta go with jag get the money back get a newer one
