Greetings from Atlantic Canada fellow Rocketists !

The description of your recent purchase was real poetry, welcome from S Florida where one can ride year round!!

Welcome sir.
Glad you found us.
How many miles has it got on it?
Don't listen to that crazy Scot, he's a real good guy,
if you don't count his color-blindness,
He still thinks red is faster.........
And the grey engines,,, those were made exclusively for beginners,
so you got the right bike.
All B.S. aside, welcome and have fun.
You'll probably find your fuel light comes on early,
there's a post about fixing that somewhere around here.
Any questions, we'll try to answer, I know when I first got mine, I had a lot.
You won't be disappointed, just hang on tight and be ready for the questions every time you stop.
Welcome from Oklahoma,
skip

Welcome to the forum. You can ride more months if you go south. My kids live in Mission Texas, it is considered bitterly cold when it dips to 45 degrees.

Welcome! I trailered mine home on a u-haul. Couldn't stop looking in the mirror. Probably ran over something and just dont know.

Hell and welcome to the site from New Jersey, Dread Specter.

I trust that your Rocket III will more than live up to your expectations and that you will be out enjoying your new ride quite soon!

Thanks for all the kind words lads, I'm glad my little experience did remind you guys of the thrill of the ""first time"" haha.

I've been lurking about for a little while, mainly in the classifieds as I was looking for a potential machine, but the little I saw of the community here was that it fits the bike perfectly : it's big, comfy, unique and plenty of fun !

I hope I won't be too bothersome with potential questions as I'm not exactly acquainted with the beauty ; first it's a motorbike, then it's fuel injected, but more than anything, I've gotten used to doing basic stuff on diesel engines, and there is a lot to learn about those bike mechanically. I got the shop manual in PDF at least, and I know how to use the search function so that's a start haha !

I love how tight knit this community seems to be, it's as much as a thrill as owning the bike itself. I already feel right at home here

As for the snow well, have a look :

48 hours later :

On the way down I saw two bikers, it was 8 degrees Celsius outside... I thought we'd have an early season... I thought I'd get to ride her soon.... Not the case Now you know why I'm so disappointed hah.

I still have to go through the importation process too, so that's a PITA... Trying to take it easy though, but I'm so anxious to start riding !

So let's pray global warming starts this week, and maybe I'll get to ride eventually. I envy you lads down south, it must be amazing down there. Farthest I've been (at all) is florida (which is where she's from by the way), but i'd love to visit the south, texas, cali, new mexico, utah and the rest of the bible belt... the US are such a vast country, there's so much too see, especially on bike ! I hope I get the chance to do so eventually.

I'm trying to reply to everyone here but I'm losing track haha. She's got a meagre 22000 miles, so I can ride plenty without fear. Thanks to all those who offered to help BTW, it's always so appreciated to have a hand with these things !

Oh I almost forgot. Does anyone know the contact email for triumph ? I can't find it on the Canada web page and I don't want to start doing long distance calls for the heck of it.

Can anyone also confirm to me if the serial no. engraved on the engine is the same as the one of the motorbike. I can't find my VIN plate but I'm somewhat worried that the registration doesn't match the engine no. ...

Thanks lads !
