Congratulations! You have superb taste in motorcycles - as you can see from the photo below - we share this particular trait!

We almost couldn't be further apart and still both live in Florida - unless I were to move to Key West ("Let's see - which direction should we ride today?" - "How about North?")

Keep the rubber side down, brother! You're gonna love the ride.

"Red and Black. Thus avoiding "which colour is faster"."

I like having the slower black color combined with the red...keeps me from getting speeding tickets:sneaky:.

The guys who say the Rockets are ugly need a bottle of windex to clean off their glass belt buckles (glass belt buckle to see out in light of where their head must be).

These are beautiful bikes.

I was at the Indian dealer yesterday. They had a pair of Vintage and one Chieftain on the floor, so I got to give them a serious once over. These are very large, heavy bikes, powered by a 111 inch V-twin. The Chieftain looked to me to be the product of cross breeding a Road King with a Victory Vision. I think there were several first impression items that look to be nicely done, but in the end, they look forced to me. I think the Rocket's are more authentic.

I checked out the American flag splattered clothing items. Every piece of clothing I picked up was Chinese or Vietnam sourced. But the prices were all as high as you would expect to pay for U.S. made Vanson gear. I guess they know where the profit is.

Maybe Karen Davidson is a consultant ....

R3T for me, thanks.

The harley experiment lasted longer than I expected, welcome back and nice bike that color combo gets better the more you look at it.

Beautiful bike! Would you believe me if I told you I love the red and black color scheme? (I do btw) I wish you many happy miles :)

Thanks guys...I appreciate your comments...one thing I did forget about was how "wide" that gas tank is but it is a beautiful bike and the difference in handling, acceleration and the "just feel good feeling of riding this bike" was way different than from riding the Harley...should have done this a long time ago and skipped the Harley "experiment" as it turned out to be a very expensive lesson.

hey molino, 1 harley out.... 1 rocket 3 in. such good common sense you are exhibiting! was that your one and only HD? thats all it took for me too. now it looks like all that R3T is missing is one thing........ a trunk! i would suggest a "saddleman" as they are priced right, and are sized just right for the big girl.
