Had bike dyno tuned again yesterday, after using the rolling road to calibrate the new clocks.

Will post proper pix when I get it back on Monday...pix may take a week, 'cos am away with work. VERY happy with the work the boys at Genesis have done...real attention to detail.

Next step is to get my engineer mate to finish what he's started with the engine...luckily, I'm happy with it as it is (for the time being!!) 'cos he ain't quick!!!!!

Nice one mate, congrats.

What's causing the spikes between 3200 and 4000?

Your mate is not quick, but highly qualified if I remember correctly.

Where are Genesis based?

Good figures you got there.

Like the dial too - really cleans up the bars.

They did need calibrating on the rolling road...were reading 30mph for 60mph!! Didn't think it was a good defence in the eye of the law!!

No idea...tyre chatter?? Sure there's someone here who'll have a theory.

Genesis are based in Bromsgrove. Have had other bikes looked after by them, but this was the first time with the Rocket. They've got access to the diagnostic tool and all that from Triumph. Really pleased with the way they've taken care of the bike...sorted out loads of little bits that took time and effort. Would definitely recommend them...not the cheapest, but value for money IMO to get it done right. 8)

They had a bit of a performance getting the calipers right, cos they rubbed on the discs, but machined then slightly to ensure perfect fit, I had some spacers which they also adjusted slightly. Now with the HEL lines and Pazzo levers...STOPS!!

Same with mine too - had the Translogic dash fitted, and it was a bit of a trial getting the magnetic speedo sensor to read on the rear wheel. Was really giving erratic readings. Eventually sorted by Dave Hammond Racing in Dover, by filing the bolt head flat & fitting a copper washer behind it.

Naturaloak,
Are Genesis ok with the Tuneboy set-up?

The tuning was done over the road from Genesis at HLM...they are dynojet/PC III set up. Asked about tuneboy, he'd never heard of it. I've got PC III. Good service from them too...much better than where I had the original tune done when I put the Jars on.
