After a lot of time on the phone, calling shops ion OKC, Tulsa , and the DFW area, I have decided that the MC world would fold if it was not for the Power commander.
I kept getting the same answer >> We work on American V twins. There were a few that did work on ****** rockets, but all said they would not remap our type of ECU.
A couple of folks in Tulsa were real nice and honest. One told me that some shops would install the PC , but then install one of the stock maps. Had that happen to me on a Moto Guzzi Quota.
I wanted to find decent shop in a relative short distance, that I could rely on. With that option gone and my knowledge of the procedures being close to that of a piss ant, I decided that I would be better off going the 700 miles to Wayne's.
The wife is going to ride her trike. We are going to take in a BMW rally on the way to see some old friends, then do some sight seeing while in Birmingham . That way it will be more than a grind to get there and a rind to get home.

Good luck with Wayne. He'll set you up fine. However, any good Dynojet tuner who works on V-twins should be able to tune any bike with a PC. They're not tuning the ECU, they're tuning the PC.

Did you not get the Auto Tune with your PCV and didnt I send you the Wayne Tripp AFR Table replica map that I made for PCV + AT it might not be as perfect as Wayne can do on a dyno but it would be dam close once you have done a 100 miles or do the AT will have set up a fairly acurat trim table which you except and it becomes you fuel table and then the Auto tune just trims as conditions warrant to give you as close as possible to the exact fueling you need

You will not regret going to Wayne. He is a rare man that believes in taking personal pride in his work.
If you want to ride some good twisty roads he can help you out with that also.

I recommend staying in Alabaster where Wayne's shop is.
Candlewood Suites Alabaster - Alabaster, Alabama - Yahoo! Travel

Very clean and quiet. There is a Wal Mart just below the hill from the hotel and many great restaurants in that area.

Sounds like a nice trip, have a safe and awsome ride. your lucky your wife rides, mine sadly does not:(
