Hi All,Fitted a new gel battery last week so had the old one off for around 24hrs.Now my gipro wont recognise the gears!.I can get it into tre mode ok,then it reads 0 for nuetral press the button again it goes into L for learn mode.....then flashing 1....put it into gear and the 1 just keeps flashing...Any ideas???? I removed mine to test my battery drain theory (it does indeed use a bit of power when the bike is stood unused - only milliamps but the R3's battery is hardly over dimensioned ) - and later refitted it (but to a switched power supply). I dont use the ATRE bit. I went for a GiPro/atre as the numbers are bigger.
It now gets confused between 1st and 2nd for a while - but gets itself sorted after a mile or two. Seems to me you may have to retrain yours, though.
If mine ever starts to play up like yours - it'll go straight into the bin. You'll get better engine results using TuneECU than ATRE will ever give you (imho). I'd just have to learn to count gears again - no so easy with Dr Alz-wotsit hovering ever present.
