SO FAR SO GOOD WITH THE BLUE GANG. i got mine made up to suit the pegs and custom seat ( seat 2 inches lower and the inner thigh section thinned ) wrapped in leather for good measure. this puts my 22 inch apes at my shoulder height ,lower than my 16 inch apes on my pan head. .just looks radical doesnt feel like it. Im only 5 10, tall. like most things ,its in the balance of the parts .

Don't venture over the border into Qld mate ... the coppers get a real hard-on when it comes to defecting bikes with apes up here. Got to just about have a degree in mathematics to work out what's legal or not... mates on Harleys get defected by one cop and the next one don't even look at the bars ... it's crazy !!!

I agree, I got 16 18 20 22 24 inch apes and flat s in the collection so if I am pinged its only about 30 min job to change em ,get them sited and paperwork then home and change back. the silly games played I guess, but it keeps the blue boys employed.

the ride is firmer , and now my feet are flat on the ground with bent knees. Seems ok with my pegs being further fwd on the 04 than later set ups. I try and swap things around a bit, will be putting on chubby t bars and batwing fairing for winter, and getting second set of tin ware painted up soon. one rego, maintance, regime and like having anew bike every 6 months.
