Hello Howler and welcome from VA. I live about 1.5 hours from you. I'm off to the Nevada mountains for some work but we should ride soon.

Just like to introduce myself. I'm originally from Nottingham, UK, but been living in the U.S. for the last 17 years. Currently in Baltimore MD. I've been riding for 30 years, and picked up a used,05, R3 on Friday. My last bike was powerful, a Kawasaki VN2000, but that doesn't come close to the power on the R3. So I currently own the largest V-Twin ever made, and the largest production bike ever made. Go me!

Welcome to the forum!
Don't go feeling like The Lone Ranger, Amigo.

I still have my 80 plus thousand mile 2004 VN 2k as well as my 2012 R3R.
Both are excellent bikes, the Roadster is indeed better in all respects, except comfort.
