Haven't had real good service with the lead acid batterys, Have had 2 and they both start to crank slower after awhile.
Was thinking of buying the Gel Cell, think there deep cycle or can get them in deep cycle.
The above part number is a HD battery that is the right size for the Rocket, with a little more cranking power. You could have it cross referenced to find a Gell Cell that's the same.
Just how short are your trips, alselec? You shouldn't have a battery problem unless you run for less than a few minutes at a time or spend more time at idle RPM than running RPM. If all your batteries keep loosing charge then your bike's charging system needs to be looked at.
Scotty. I was told by the HD dealer that the part number you quoted now ends in a B and not an A. I think I will spend the extra cash and get one. I am getting a bit pissed off setting out for work earlier so that I have time to jump the f**ker.
