Yep, love my 07, but if I were buying now I'd target 2010 or later. Agree though, paid just under $14k brand new for mine.
 
Hello Boomer and welcome for Virginia. If you're looking to get the missus on the back end, then maybe look for an R3 Touring. They came out in 2008. I have a 2014 and about to turn over 19K miles. These little guys just love to eat up miles... Best of luck to you on your search.
