G'day From Hervey Bay

Hi Big Marty, I have 2011 Roadster I purchased up your way, only have 4500km but would be interested in a Rocket ride some day. Will let you know if I get up your way.

Any locals who would like to organise a rocket ride or meet & great day just drop me a line plenty of advance and maybe through here we can get a few to participate.

We could list those interested and make a half way point to meet up, have a beer or two, lunch, talk ****, & enjoy the day. One or two days doesn't bother me.[/QUOTE]
Maybe you'll have more luck getting something happening than i've had

Hi Marty

Welcome aboard. I've had my Rocket since new 2005 and have run a rear car tyre for the past 3 years....can't wear it out. handles better than bike tyre as far as traction etc. Cost $130 fitted...now done 25,000ks on it and it's got about 10 k left I reckon. Enjoy the ride. I have many mates with R3s now. They are great bikes.:eek::eek:

Rocket Ride

G'day Marty , good to have another Qlder on board and great to hear your clocking up the k's. I've got an 09 Standard, just clicked over 84,000 :D been trying to organise a get-together with all the SEQ Owners but it ain't happened yet.

Mate I'll put my brain into action and organise an event. What I might do is with the help of my local trumpy dealer put together a planed trip to Hervey Bay. Show of our bikes and mods some have made. maybe with a planned event we just might be on a winner.
