G,day Gregger
My last ride was a 2012 Suzuki C109Rt ,it was a replacement for the 2008 Suzuki GSX 1400 I had previously, I have had over 30 bikes in my 48 years of riding and like most riders the current ride is always the best,we ride all year round down here with only a few places it where it snows ,the C109Rt was alright but not what I expected it to be ,nice finish when new but was already starting to show signs of deteriorating within I year ,alloy pitting and chrome tarnishing ,too much plastic ,I fitted a Timing retard eliminator (TRE) to reduce the surging in 1/2/3 gear and gutted the pipes and made my own stainless steel baffles but it never sounded beefy, the thing that I could not come to terms with was the Handling ,the 240 back tyre and the steering geometry was a shocker ,I have owned and ridden some pigs of bikes in my time but this one took the cake! fairly powerful and torquey but the 2 up Rocket would eat it for breakfast and go looking for a M109 for desert,

G'day all
just a Question ,I have just changed the oil in my 2011 Rocket3 touring Engine oil and filter ,and the final drive oil as well' using full synthetic of the recommended grade ,I was surprised by the small amount of Oil I drained from the final drive thinking it must have been low only 125 mls but that's all it took to refill to the filler plug ,does this sound right.other shaft drive bikes I have had took around 250 mls to refill
any advice appreciated
Cheers

Jebus Ken, I never thought that the C109Rt will give you that much grief. I did have a M109R, and never had a problem. 2009 Model, did about 20K with her. Mods , cobra 2 in 1, ATRE for the same issue as yours, and a FIauto tune cobra, but then she was a beauty. Must admit that The rocket got me! :) I hope that you enjoy yours! Stay upright

Hey Ken welcome from a former OZBoulevard member , you will find the members here a better class of people more mature down to earth LOL . I was chased out as soon as i talked up the rocket and how much better it was as a bike . If you still go on there tell them knobs Boula said hi :D:p;)
