Hello . another small issue I hope .Just noticed a small oil leak bottom of front fork. Anyone ever have this issue ,and is it hard to fix ?? :D

gday, what caused the leak? is it a leaking seal or worse?

whatever the case, i wouldnt panic but I wouldnt ignore it either. one of the guys that know what their talking about will come along sooner or later with a solution.

Leak in front forks .

Doesnt seem very bad at all ,If it sets over a couple days there is a spot the size of a Quarter. and I wiped hand under fork and it was wet. so yes sounds like a seal. but if Im taking apart. may look at differant springs. t6hinking out loud !!!! Any and ALL help welcome !!!!

YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE WHERE THE OIL IS COMING FROM. THERE IS A BOLT IN THE VERY BOTTOM of the fork just above the front axle that has a copper washer on it.if that is leaking it will come out the bottom. if the seal is leaking it will come out at the bottom of the top fork tube. make sure you are not leaking at brake calipers.

if you click on fork at the bottom of the page you will see a lot of threads about this.
