I have just noticed a droning sound coming from the front end when up straight and with even a slight lean to either side it is accompanied by what sounds like a grinding noise :(
I think it might be the wheel bearing, but I wanted to know if anyone else has had these symptoms and any other suggestions on what the cause could be.

I would raise the front and spin the wheel and see if it is the wheel
bearings. Since I put the Dunlops, D251, which I love, they make a
terriable noise. So keep in mind it could also be your tires making
the noise. Also check air pressure.

Being stock she's not that loud and I can't remember if I heard it before I done the Tyre pressure.
And I haven't got a lift for her yet .
Any advice on which lift to go for would be much appreciated ;)

:bch:

Jack out of the neighbours car will lift it up. Sidestand will hold the weight if you put the jack somewhere around the brake pedal... for long enough to spin the wheel anyway. Get the overweight neighbour to keep his chubby hand on the pillion seat just in case :D

Try MACHINE MART CML4 motorcycle lift.I don't know if you have a branch in NI though.
