I had the front brake pads replaced at my dealers and ever since the front brake pulsates as if it's being pulled and released repeatedly when it's applied. This is more noticable at low speeds when it's coming to a stop.
Anyone know what's the likely cause? It was fine before it whent in.
Sorry, I'm dead from the neck up mechanicaly.

Warped disc :?:
Cant think of much else .
But if problem was not there before , and is now pads are fitted I would check back with your mechanic

Had the same problem on my old XJR1300. Got panicy thinking it was the discs but found out I had been careless with the copper slip and on fitting the caliper back on, I had put a very fine smear on the disc. Lube on a small area can have a dramatic effect on braking and it spread quite well too. Spray brake cleaner did the job.

I had another problem many years ago that showed the same symptoms. The two bolts that carry the caliper had seized up where they should have free play through the caliper. As the caliper could not travel perpendicular to the disc, any discrepancy the disc had while rotating was telegraphed through the pads, pistons, right up to the lever. I won't disclose exactly which bike of mine it was as it would be a little embarassing. May be worth a check ?
Good luck.
