fluctuating idle

Sometimes when the engine is warmed up,I will pull up to the lights and the idle fluctuates rhythmically about 50 rpm from its correct rate,then goes away at the next traffic lights and maybe for rest of the day.
Sometimes I ride all day and it never occurs.
Its been doing this intermittently for a few years but has never gotten any worse.
Is this a TPS problem?

The bike was manufactured about august 08 and Im not sure whether it would have the updated TPS or not.

50 rpm, I'd not worry about! But Warp found out that much below 900 rpm, there aint much oil pressure, so check what idle you have

Its sounds crap when it does it. Im going to get Dave Barwood to run it on his dyno and Ill ask him about it. I think mine is around 850,whats the stock specs?
Is there a hole somewhere you can fix an oil pressure guage? My local parts shop hires them.
