first time ,be gentle...

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Wow that is something and a 1st from what I have seen on a new one at least. Hope it gets straightened out soon. Oh and welcome to the site that power addicts cling to.

Got your bike back?

Limey, do you have your bike back yet?

I have just done some extensive research and changing my clutch setting to 4 from 1 helps my shifting issues. On setting 1 (closest to the handlebars) I can pull the clutch in while keeping the throttled on and the engine does not rev for at least a full count. On setting 4 it behaves much better.

That is a bit strange limey4life but not impossible is suppose. Find it kind of impromptu with the shortage of miles but if they say it needs it who am I to question. Sorry you had the trouble right out of the box. They will fix it. Welcome

Now A Boss Rocket

Hope you had fun with the 350 V-8 I don't think you'll find too much difference in the acceleration now. Glad you've join the mad house!

Welcome to the forum Limey.

I'm one also.

If/when they go off at a tangent and you need anything translating just holler!

I hope your R3 woes are now behind you.

Yup you can thank your fellow countryman for your problem, now my Rocket is a 2005 and not one bit of trouble, I quite beleive the guys at the factory knew that a Scot was buying the bike and to stop me going over and sticking a wellie up where the sun does not shine they took extra care building mine.

Let me get this straight: 3 months ago we hear from Limey on a shift issue and now it's resurrected. Perhaps it was a mal-adjusted clutch cable.
