First Service

Ok guys, just picked up a Black 2021 R3GT, and already anticipating the 600 miles service. On all my other bikes (14 and counting), I was able to do this myself. They said this service includes the engine oil/filter (full synthetic), checking codes, making sure all bolts are to spec and replacing the final gear oil. They want $417 to do so. Is this someting easy to do myself or bite the bullet and pay them?

Good luck with your new Rocket.
I personally would rather perform this maintenance myself.
When I bought my 2020 Rocket R the oil level was 24oz over full.
I have allways done my own maintenance. At 85mph, Im not thinking did the dealer tighten that nut to spec.

Glad you decided to go new. I always do my first service too. Document your expenses and make an entry in your owners manual of the things you did during the service.
