Well the curved back rest pad that was shown in Torque magazine a few months ago has finally arrived in Triumph's catalog. It looks to be a lot more comfortable for the passenger and I'll update when I get it delivered and installed.

    Part number: A9701167
    Suggested retail: $ 71.98

    new curved backrest

The one I'm using is great! Of course, we had to replace the bottom seat. I couldn't even make it around town with that one. I think the one I' m on now is a gel seat. The backrest is one my husand made. If you don't have a backrest, check them out on ebay. Our TIII is so much more comfortable now. He is going to come out with more stuff. He did something to the exhaust, came up with a killer set of ajustable handlebars (still in design), and some other cool stuff. I feel like I'm rambling...... sorry, just waiting for Rocket to come back home with hubby.
