Final drive question

Check out Bike Bandit The prices have come down greatly for a new one I had ended up buying my new one from the stealer but I used my military discount and got 10% off If I remmember correctly it cost about 516.00

I love your custom of giving military discount. I am active duty swedish airforce and even I got discount when I was in Florida in october. I´m trying to get the same habit in Sweden :) Thankyou for your service!

I got it today. That's some dang fast shipping. I hope it's right one cause' it looks like brand new. I took a picture of it. It appears to have an angle less than 90 degrees which I'm told is what a touring would have. Anybody have one off to do a comparo pic ?

When you speak of less than 90 degrees, are you referring to the slight angle of the casting/driveshaft attachment point as it looks in your picture? Is the roadster straight out from the casting without having this downward angle? It seems like the roadster would use that angle as shown to accommodate the wider tire. Looking at the parts list for 2005, the Roadster has an 87 degree angle part number T1275000 . The Rocket III and classic for that year are straight...part number T1274000. Ouch! $2724.00

I'm hoping it IS for a Rocket III / classic. The Touring is supposed to be 90 degree. This one doesn't appear to 90 deg so hopefully it's the correct one, fingers crossed

Here's a pic from another one on eat-me-bay. Looks like more of an angle but it may just be the way the picture was taken. There are no good side view pics of a Touring final drive.

The splines where the drive shaft connect to the final drive are going bad on mine. I want to change it out before it fails and leaves me stranded.
